[ARCHIVED] Other Data Importing SolutionsWIP
Want to integrate with Miso but don’t see your platform listed? Don’t fret — your Miso support team will work with you to streamline a data importing solution for your existing tech stack.
Webhook
A webhook is a type of API that allows web applications to communicate with each other in real-time. Unlike traditional APIs, webhooks are driven by events, rather than requests. The webhook provider is supplied a URL of where to send data as it is generated. In contrast, a traditional API requires you to pull data on a frequent cadence, whether or not there is new data available. Many platforms offer a webhook that allows Miso to receive events (e.g. product catalog updates) as they occur. In this case, we will provide a URL and a unique token that you can use to setup the webhook within your platform.
File upload in Dojo
For a point-and-click interface, you can upload JSON files containing product catalog and interaction data directly into Dojo. For more information, please see the main articles:
SFTP
Secure File Transfer Protocol, or SFTP, is a file protocol for transferring large, sensitive files over the web. If JSON files containing product catalog and/or interaction data are available on a cloud server, Miso can automatically download the files and upload them to our secure servers.
New native integration
We are constantly evaluating and adding new platforms to our list of supported integrations. Your platform may already be on our integration roadmap, and we may prioritize it if has been highly requested. To request a new native integration, send us an email at support@askmiso.com.
